Description
Please note: I color with Verithin Prismacolors pencils (24 pack). I am not familiar with other materials such as copic markers, paint, or CG programs.I'm quite happy with this, and I hope you find it helpful.
Feel free to send me requests for other coloring tutorials.

I haven't used my Verithin pencils in a while, but I've been thinking about using them again. (Ive been hooked on Copics XD) This might just help me out!

I really want to try copics, but they're hella expensive. Prismacolors are awesome though. I'm perfectly happy with them. :]
Well, good luck with your coloring!

Copics are totally worth it if you have the money, but prismacolors are good too. I use both.
Thanks!

I just love colored pencils so much. I can't imagine myself using any other medium, and I don't want to spend a bunch on copics unless I'm sure that I'll enjoy them. *Looking for free trial period.*

This was actually done on regular copy paper. That's what I normally draw on, since it's cheap and easily accessible. I need to go buy some more drawing paper. o.o

Reeallly? My skin tone pencil always indents on the paper and it drives me nuts because it comes out really gross and crappy. D:

I have a couple of pencils that do the same thing, if I'm understanding you correctly. Sometimes I have to color on some scratch paper to wear away the rough edge. Thankfully though, I don't use those colors often anymore.

I don't have a "skin tone". I use orange...and a bunch of other weird colors.

I have this light peachy color.....I use an tannish color to do shadows.
Maybe I'll try using orange to color next time? You press really lightly whne you color right?

Yes'm, though it's probably not as lightly as you might think. The skin may look discolored at first, but I try to establish a strong base. Once I start adding all the other colors, the orange fades a lot.

I'll try playing around with my prismas again...it would be nice to be able to use them you know? Much as I LOVE my copics, I'd like to know some other mediums just because!
