Bet you did not expect him, huh ? OK, those who follow me did.
I give you the big teddy bear cop himself. With a heart of gold, a mountain of muscles and very loquacious vernacular, Bishop proved to my great delight that he can be quite polyvalent as a teammate and as a lead protagonist. He's altruistic to a fault , in an excessive yet not self-destructive way (like our good Anthony Stark...) and I always loved it when he interacts with the more humorous X-men members.

90s TAS introduced this guy to me, like many others great not-Claremont characters. Sure his personality was a tad bit harsher than in the comics but I enjoyed his no bs attitude. Also how he was pretty much doomed to go between helping X-Men and returning to future to see what new hell it had become. And making him the protagonist in Days of Future Past? Brilliant.

I find it how people rag on him despite the fact that the concept is quite simple; he has the size of Colossus and the whole "best student of the class" htick of Kitty... except he's nowhere near as unendurable as either of them.
The fact that he was ready to return to fresh hell despite his heroic deeds is what makes him a hero. And AoA highlights one hardest choices Bishop had to make ...
