The EPITOME of the novel's superior action scenes ! My gripe is less that Muldoon dies in the movie (as I said, I actually did not mind that in principle), it's that you have a good actor in Bob Peck and hardly let him do anything cool as his novel version before killing him off ! Yeah, I am touched that he chooses to sacrifice himself so that Ellie can get to the shed and restore electricity, but it'd have worked better after another action scene.
We get Roland Tembo in TLW but it is still a completely different drive and arc from either Roberts.
Also naysayers take a hike to hell, blowing up raptors with a rocket launcher is fucking BADASS !
