Description Yes... it was another dream! Please don't throw things.. I just had to add some snogging here to keep my interest up! No more dreams from now on, I promise.

Now, I absolutely love this page !
There's a wonderful dynamic to the first panel (and since I don't know the reference picture I'm just gonna give all the credit to you ) and I really like the format you've chosen for the second one. It makes a nice follow-up to the first one and is a perfect fit for the angle that we see the two from. And seeing Les' middlefinger creeping under the rim of John's undershirt just so, made me smile ^_^

I think you've done really well with picking the detail to show in John's dreambubble. Very expressive hands lovely.

Love how Les' "aw!" makes the transition into the "caw" noises. That made me chuckle, now I have to imagine Les making these sounds during sex >.< XD
Also: everytime I look at Watson sitting on that bench with his knees pressed together I have to laugh out loud The whole pose and his expression are priceless XD

And I really don't mind the dreams^^ You'll never hear me complaining about any snogging that's going on between the two. Imaginary or otherwise

Wow, thank you so much for such a long and lovely comment! I thought you would like the subject matter on this page! Thanks for giving me the full credit for the top panel, but most of that should go to Blacksad, the drawings there are amazing in such an effortless way. Glad you like the follow-up panel, I think I changed that three times - not a close-up, don't show too much, shirt off/on?, etc. And then of course it had to match with the third panel.. It was a labor of love though, as I'm sure you understand: drawing Victorian gents in many different poses and stages of undress.

Glad you spotted the knee-pressing! At least some part of Watson openly shows his fondness for the Detective. Hopefully I can draw some real snogging soon, if they just would get on with it.

I've just read every single page of this comic in one sitting and by God is it impressive. Everything you do, you pull off with the flair of perfection- your way with words, your spectacular art style, the way you convey emotions and expressions (in example Watson's embarrassed look on this page is hilarious) and the fact you use Jeavons!Lestrade (the best of all Lestrades). Not only am I highly jealous, I am immensely respectful and intensely happy that I found this comic, and of course, you as an artist. *watches*

And oh my word, yes!! I seriously love your Blacksad frame (one of the first pages of "Somewhere Between Shadows", right? Although I think in English it's just called "Blacksad"...), it's superb! I always squee when somebody else mentions these series, because I've loved it to pieces for years and it's frustrating because not a lot of people on the Net know it. The art is drop-dead gorgeous and the way it's written... Wow

Yes that's from Somewhere Between Shadows, or "Quelque part entre les ombres" which is what I'm reading on the cover of my copy. I got them in France, despite being less than stellar in French. I thought it would be a good motivation for learning it, and I have learnt some, but I'm mainly looking at the images. Glad you've discovered it too! It deserved all the readers it can get. It's quite the hit in France, there's plastic toys of the characters, but I don't think it's that well known abroad.
