EDIT: ok i've fixed the screen problem as much as i canand it should now work with vista (if you run it as an administrator

OMG YAY Emoticon desktop toy
I've been meaning to do this ever since I made my ":Computer:" emote but never got round to it
So What it is and How it Works
this is an application for Windows that makes an emote appear on your desktop, you can pick him up by ether his body or arms and chuck him around your desktop then watch him bounce off the walls

P.S. if you want to get rid of him then just click on him the press Alt+F4
oh and to run it in vista you must select "run as admin"

I love this! His expression when he gets thrown around is so funny. I got mad yesterday and he made me happy
Oh, I'm not sure if it's supposed to do this, but when he's sitting at the bottom when I'm not throwing him his head sort of rolls/shakes slightly. It's not overly distracting, but I'm not sure if it's meant to do that.

If you decide to add more to this program, a way to pick the color of your little friend would be cool. *nod nod*
Also, if you were to get very fancy, a "chase mode" where he chases after your cursor would be cute as well.

Hmmm... it works better now, but still not quite right.
Is it still a vista problem? It falls down below the screen, the pops up a little and I can grab it, but if it drops to the bottom again if falls through.

that's exactly what it's doing for me too. I happen to use Vista as well. When I can grab it, I can't seem to throw it either. It just stops where I release... or maybe that's something I'm doing wrong?

I downloaded the previous one, before you fixed it and he fell through the bottom of the screen. I just need to know how to close him because I can't click on him and do alt+f4 because he's not there and when I bring up the task manager, it doesn't say the little guy is running.

Also, I just downloaded the new one and I thought he fell through the screen again, but he bounced off the bottom. But then he slowed down enough so he bounced and stopped just BELOW of where my mouse has access. D: I still can't reach him.

Ctrl Alt Delete
Press these three keys and a window will pop up. "Windows Task Manager" if it's windows. Click on "Emoticon Desktop Toy" then click "end task" it should close it down

Hmm, very interesting and fun but it doesn't run the smoothest.
What I think would be neat to see is options to change his color and to be able to put more than one on the screen. They could interact with each other too, but it might be a good idea to put a limit on it like three or so (you could make a cute girl one as well).
Another idea I had was, if you don't touch him for awhile, he should start to do things like move around or say things (speech bubble of course.)
I really like this idea of a emote desktop toy and I'm excited to see more versions of it.
