Yeah, I use the pen tool for various things too. I learned that if you stick too much to "rules" in digital art you soon get left behind so I'd recommend using whatever tools you're most comfortable with.

All details with hairs and skin texture are amazing ! I love the colour mood, it goes so well with the subject. How long did you spend on this one ?
