That's amazing. I love the detail and the style you have used. The lack of colour adds atmosphere too. Interesting concept too.

i like how the roots and trunks of the trees (those are trees, right?) intertwine.
i cant understand the message in this since im not familiar with the book and the magician you mentioned.
but its an interesting concept... its like a door to your mind, or whatever dark thoughts Stephen King's book induces.

i really like the colours and tonality. there tonal range is really good and work to create a good scene i tihnk. detailed in arts but not messy or too much. great piece
