love the low range of values... the darkness gives it a very subdued/calm look, but at the same time there is still a lot of movement in the lines of the horse, tree, cape, and grass. lovely in full view too.

Awesome job dude - it sort of reminds me of the wood elves from fantasy novels. The unicorn supports that too. I love the effort you've put in to the lighting; the detail is particularly noticable on her cloak, and on the flanks of the unicorn. The black background gives it quite an ominous feel too - it's sort of creepy and beautiful at the same time, you know?

Very cool. Thirty hours? I know I wouldn't have that much patience...
(nope. No computer addict spend-a-week-on-one-sketch artist here. No siree)
Only thing about it is that the female doens't look right. Judging from her face, chest, the tree and the end of her cape her torso is longer than her legs. I think you've put the ground too close to her...from what I can see her cape would be at or just below her knees.
Still, it's very, very good. I'm not nearly that talented with a pencil.

thanx for the comment, but the tree aint full size here, cuts off at the bottom, the cape aint full lenght like usual, it'l all look ok once each piece is put together and extended, thanx again
