This was created a while back, but iv only just decided to put it up, its done in more or less the same style as 'Passion From The Undead' [link]----

Ohhh, there's something so striking about good monochromatic work. Your reds are well-placed for the best effect, and those wings must have taken you forever to do! Something about the whole thing makes me imagine people murmering quietly in the background and nearliy holding their breath. It's got a real sense of 'waiting'. Nice work!

I like the way you use monochrome with a little bit of red.
I particulary like this deviantion, but I think the main characters (the boy and the angel) lose focus with the parental figures in the background.
I know this is a memorial, so I ask you if you can produce another deviation based on this one, but focusing on the main concept.

If it was only in graphite it would have been a good picture, but with the introduction of that powerful red, it really makes the picture stand out. The drawing is very good, and I like the feathers that make the angels wings... its a very good picture

You might like to check out ~dougy 's work, some of it reminds me of this. I like the colouring and the way you've tossed bits of red into the composition with the roses to break it up.
