Description
Mandilok is in a rage over his last plan failing, and hits Toxica. She runs away, and Jindrax follows her. A new Duke Org, Onikage, appears to Mandilok and pledges loyalty to him.
Onikage then goes to Jindrax and Toxica and tells them he has a plan to capture Princess Shayla. Toxica is reluctant at first, but agrees to help him.
That night, the three Orgs sneak onto the Animarium.
Max wakes up and hears them, and alerts Danny.
Toxica sees the water fountain, mesmerized, she touches it, and receives a shock in return. She screams and wakes the Rangers. Onikage defends Jindrax and Toxica from them.
Jindrax compliments Danny's teddy bear. Embarrassed, Danny tosses it behind him.
Shayla emerges from the fountain, and the Rangers morph to protect her.
The Orgs retreat, and Mandilok punishes Toxica. She leaves, heartbroken that she let him down, but Onikage tells her she has a chance to make it up to him.
Later, the Rangers go to deal with a new Org attack. They're shocked to see five past Orgs they've defeated before!
On the Animarium, Shayla hears Merrick and leaves the fountain. She tells him to go help the Rangers.
Merrick arrives to the fight and sees Onikage, the past Orgs are an illusion of his doing!
Up on the Animarium, Shayla turns and sees, Merrick? A mysterious purple light envelops his face, he isn't who he appears to be.
Onikage leaves, and Shayla calls the Rangers back.
Shayla watches as the fake Merrick reveals their true form, Toxica!
Shayla fights back, while the Rangers battle Jindrax and a group of ninja themed Putrids.
Shayla questions Toxica why she wants to capture her. Toxica reveals she doesn't know, she just follows what Mandilok says. Shayla tries to reenter the fountain, but Toxica wrestles her away. Shayla pushes Toxica in, and she appears to get shocked like before, but then she calmly behaves like she felt nothing. She then reveals that she cut off her horn. In a flashback, we see Onikage tell her that her horn will grow back, and he cuts it off.
Meanwhile, in the Rangers' fight, Onikage fires a cannon at the Rangers, as well as his own allies. Jindrax is disgusted by him and leaves. The Rangers try to fire back at Onikage, but only hit a decoy.
Jindrax joins Toxica in taking Princess Shayla to Mandilok and Onikage. Suddenly, Toxica grows weak and collapses. Jindrax notices her horn missing. She tells him Onikage said it would grow back, but Onikage just turns and says he doesn't know what shes talking about. Mandilok says they can't grow back.
The Rangers show up to rescue the Princess, just as they fire an attack at Mandilok, he blocks the blast with Toxica's body, and she evaporates.
The Rangers are shocked at his ruthlessness, and Jindrax is shaken.
Mandilok leaves, and tells Jindrax to bring the Princess to the lair, he obeys.
Onikage stays behind to battle the Rangers.
Onikage grows and the Rangers call the Zords.
On the ground, Merrick senses an Org, and discovers Onikage didn't grow, it was an illusion. Onikage retreats, and the Rangers go to the Animarium. They feel lost without Shayla.

This is a very interesting episode, pushing Jindrax and especially Toxica into being sympathetic characters. Poor Toxica has her whole world view shaken. It's similar to what happened with Diabolico and Loki in Lightspeed, they were loyal and willing servants of Bansheera, and were betrayed by her. Toxica only wants to serve Mandilok, but she receives nothing but scorn in return.
Onikage is an interesting character, he's a ninja who gives Jindrax and Toxica ninja outfits that allow them to sneak into the Animarium. Onikage is untrustworthy and deceptive, which is probably why Mandilok likes him.
Mandilok is shown to be particularly ruthless here, sacrificing Toxica without a thought. That action helps to convince Jindrax against their cause.
Toxica revealing she cut off her horn was shocking, even as a kid it was unsettling. Orgs are fantasy creatures, but even seeing a fantasy creature willingly remove a body part is unusual.
I like some of the little touches in this episode, Jindrax telling Danny "Nice teddy bear" especially.
Some of the upcoming episodes are my favorites, I'm looking forward to them.
