Description
Okay, here's another crack at the monstrous entity that makes its debut in Prometheus by Ridley Scott by being pulled out via a c-section by the impregnated Shaw. The movie buzz is that it is a giant like squid more akin to the Face Hugger. I managed to find a better resolution of the scene from the second trailer and was able to make a rough guess as how it appears.
So with that said, just chalk it up to me pulling this out of my bum. I have no idea what the final creature looks like yet. But it's fun giving it a shot.

Nice colours. I don't understand the hate for the movie or the creature, it's very much in line with some of Giger's less biomechanoid paintings.

I can only imagine how Shaw must have felt like to have that growing inside her.

And that, kids, is why you wear condoms whenever you make sweet love. That, or Plan B: A visit to your friendly local LV-233 neighborhood abortion clinic.
I'm sorry, I just have to say that on like every picture of Lil' Shawdward here

Saw your picture. Nice. Gives me an idea of what the underbelly looks like. I haven't had a chance to see Prometheus yet. Wife wasn't into watching the c-section part with Shaw, so I guess I gotta wait till dvd or netflix.

The c-section bit only lasts about 5 minutes, but I can see why your wife wouldn't want to see it.

I've yet to see this movie. The official movie site said there will be two sequels that will tell more.

From what I know, this is spot on. People who've seen it on that one site (prometheus-movie.com) have told me it basically doesn't look any different than when it comes out of Shaw. And you can see the thing that comes out of Shaw in the trailers. Imagine a chestburster, but with no face, and beige. Where the tail should be are five tentacles arranged in a star shape like an elder thing. between the tentacles, on the underside, are a ring of smaller tentacles and the same type of ovipositor a facehugger has.
Yeah, it's sort of like a facehugger, but the results aren't quite the same.
Is it weird that the reason I'm psyched for this movie is because of the last 8 minutes?

You think the Facehugger-squid is shocking? Wait til the final moments, to see the possible origin of what the Facehugger usually creates.....

Have you read the numerous criticisms? This movie is one big plot hole. I was so excited, but now my head hurts.

It was rather illogical and full of plot holes as you say, but not every movie has to be a masterpiece, eh? I was a bit disappointed, but I think despite all the mess in the plot, it's worth watching. And I really liked Michael Fassbender
