Adobe Fireworks 8 ~ 1hr.I kinda missed those doughnuts; those i used to play with earlier in the year... so i came up with this. i hope you like it

the truth is i was kinda missing those too and i was wondering why u didnt use them in your recent works... but i dont judge you... i know you know what ure doing so yeah... i really like the color scheme in this one... and my fav parts are the circles and everything that's in it

Hm, I guess it is *kinda* personal preference.. But in my design process, fireworks is the pre-web application I use to slice up my images before they hit dreamweaver..
Illustrator just has a more intuitive interface, more powerful vector engine, and has pretty incredible control once you harness it. Give it a shot if you've got it available, it might be your bag, might not be.. But I know I'd never attempt something like that in fireworks, you've got skill. that's for damn sure.

hm...
to be honest before i started playing around with shapes ( graphic design ), i was interested in web design/development, and i'm talking flash/fireworks/dreamweaver. so i stuck to these 3 applications for about 2-3 years. I don't even want to touch PS . It doesn't like me and i don't like him. Now illustrator... i never got to peek inside it. but if you recommend it, i'll give it a try.
