I love the feeling of it.
I want to use this as one of the assemblages I need to research for my visual art class, and could you tell me what you were thinking when you made this, or what inspired you? Does it have a message hidden? A very brief explanation is fine.

wow - I am incredibly flattered you chose my work for a class.Β I created this piece to be included as part of a Valentine's themed show I exhibited in February.Β But I did not want it to be all about love and romance between two people in the traditional way.Β I hoped that the series would appeal to everyone that had any concept of love weather it be for that of your mother, your cat, your friend, your work, a place, a theory...or in particular yourself.Β So the block with the number 1 on it is representative of all things and relationships in which someone could proclaim their love for.Β The clock face..aside from fitting nicely upon the doll's body...obviously is representative of time or past, present and future.Β This is an old clock so perhaps it has a favored pension for the past.Β Most of my art does.
