Hi, Hanan. Tactile, yes. My love of texture went wild and intricate.
As with events in the passage of time, however, this piece is now a moment in memory; a thing of the past.

but i thought art was there to immortalize a moment!?
or are you talking literally?

As for the physical piece, I am speaking literally. It has been dismantled.
A friend of mine gave me a book once, during the period when I was doing these assemblage pieces, by an artist/photographer named Rosamond Purcell, titled "Bookworm".
It remains one of my most cherished books of visual inspiration. Some of her photographs memorialized pieces that she termed "temporary assemblages".
As I worked on this piece, over the course of many weeks, I think I did so with her in mind; thoroughly enjoying the process and the insights I received along the way.

i just made a search about this book, i see very well where the inspiration came.
art is also about the process as well as the end "product"

time is just .... ticking away but youve removed the hands so now time stands still while the edges of time cling to it and flow around it waiting ...
