Fallout: Equestria, Equality Doctrine.

Abandoning their home Island, the renamed Equalist Techno Collective found itself weekend and low in numbers. Recruiting among those of the wasteland in long forgotten parts of Equestria, the Mirage Pony guns could not be used among the wasteland folk, forcing the ETC to rely on pipeguns. Using their collective and connected minds together, they took the crude Recharger musket they once so relied on, and with new ecorces made it into a proper rifle.

Though pipe guns and other ballistics are extensively used within the ETC out of necessity, they have a preference for Magical Energy Weapons, which is where their true military might shines. If a defensive position has enough MEW-R M4 and 5’s on hoof, they can fight out nonstop day and night without need for ammo. This way no pony is left without a way to fight for equality itself.

-MEW-R M5 “Equalizer” (Magical Energy Weapon, Recharger, Model 5)-

Though not perfect, the “Equalizer” has proven to be an adequate sidearm for all comrades of the ECT, as it’s crank charger allowed a pony to never need ammo. Capable of firing five rounds before needing to crank, or fire all the power in one shot, the Recharger pistol made by the ECT is surprisingly deadly.

Because it lacks a need for ammunition, this pistol is highly prized among poor watlanders, for whom ammunition can be scarce. Because of this the “Equalizer” has become a tool for recruitment for the ECT, luring in unsuspecting wastelanders into the collective, all for a gun that has infinite ammo.

-MEW-LG M3 “Tesla Defender” (Magical Energy Weapon, Lighting Gun, Model 3)-

Needing a gun for fighting in close corters, and not requiring much aiming, Lighting guns came to mind for the ECT. Reducing the size as much as possible and using talisman spell packs, the “Tesla Defender” was created. Known for being finicky and a bit dangerous to its user, the use of the gun is seen as a poies willingness to push forward the goals of equality over their own lives. Those of the other end of a “Tesla Defender” will face a painful death.

Because of the guns short range, an attempt to make the “Tesla Defender” safer had to be cancelled, and the gun needed to be longer to make it fire without risk to the user, defeating it’s close corters role. The lives of many outweigh the lives of a few.

-MEW-R M4 “Crank Charged Rifle” (Magical Energy Weapon, Recharger, Model 4)-

Based on the old and nearly extinct -MEW-R M1 “recharger rifle” the ECT chose to go with a crank system for charging as it drew in more magic and faster to the talisman, fixing the gun’s damaged output greatly. This also made the rifle cheaper to make as it used a lower tech mechanism to power the higher tech beam talisman. Capable of firing up to six shots, or one power shot, the rifle quickly proved itself among wasladers who needed a powerful weapon that didn’t require heavy ammo.

Though the “Crank Charged Rifle” is seen as a heavy inefficient weapon, it’s lack of a need for ammo, and exceptionally powerful single ability well makes up for the flaws. With the feeding of the MEW-GBG M3, the “Crank Charged Rifle” would be placed as a markspony rifle, given a scope, a focus gemstone and better balancing modifications, it is a terrifying high powered sniper rifle.

-MEW-GBG M2 “Beam Guardian” (Magical Energy Weapon, Gatling Beam Gun Model 2)-

Recovering an old “Beam Sweeper” and a Gatling Beam Gun, the ECT put two and Two together, and combined the two guns together making the “Beam Guardian”. What was made was a cheaper and lighter Gatling Beam Gun that could effectively be put into combat. Using a talisman spell pack for power, the gun is capable of log sustained fire independent of a greater powersource.

Though mainly used to defend their bases, the “Beam Guardian” is often brought along with any strike group for troop support, creating a devastating lightshow

-MEW-GBG M3 “Vanguardism” (Magical Energy Weapon, Gatling Beam Gun Model 3)-

Seeking a better gun, and seeing the grate results of the “Beam Guardian” the weapon system was shrunk down to the size of an assault rifle. What was names the “Vanguardism” quickly became the pinnacle weapon of the ETC, having both power and reliability. Though lacking the recharge ability of MEW-R guns, the smaller talisman spell pack still let the fun fire for a long sustained period of time, only needing to reload once in most skirmishes.

This MEW rifle eisley outclasses any infantry MEW weapon found in the Equestria wasteland, but because it uses a more rare talisman spell pack, it is rarely sought after but any faction that can reproduce the new tech. The faction Orthrus on the other hoof quickly adopted the gun to supplement their own arsenal, as they do have the ability to make talisman spell packs.
