Warning: For those of you with no sense of humor, there's nothing I can do to help you.I am so going to hell for this... or reincarnated into a slug or something. I got into a religious debate on the forums again. And when I asked the person if they believe in the Juedo-Christian God, what reason do they have for not believing in the Gods of all the other cultures, I thought up this joke. As soon as I was off the forum, I went right to work on this one. I really should have gone to bed an hour ago, but I just had to finish. For those of you who are about to ask, the Deity appearing is Shiva. Thus the guy fist-pumping on the last panel would be a Hindu.

I know you don't mean any offense, but I still don't know how to even conceive of proving that my worldview is wrong- it's like asking a mathematician what would they do if they found out 1 + 1 = 3?

Awesome comic! I may believe in Jesus myself, but I still have a hard time relating to people who take religion too seriously. No human really knows exactly what's going to happen, so why not just live you life, let others live theirs, stop fighting and just see how much you can get done before we leave?

Awesome! I have to laugh at those two guys arguing, cause I've met people like them, and a whole lot more. All in all, I'd rather be like the Hindu guy, who doesn't bother people incessantly to join his religion, but just keeps living life until it's all over and time for the rejoicing.

every one believes theier religion is the right one and i think everyone should stick to it. sure conversion is good but shouldnt be forced, and respect of others is a must but lets face it. we will really truely know whats real when the world ends.

But when you think about it, the Abrahamic god isn't limited to a single form, so it can look like Shiva, or really anything it wants to. Or it could be a demon, but that's another story. They know what they think they saw, but they can't actually know for sure what they saw...

You have several choice :
- Believe in "Omniquantism" : Everything is true because quantum-theory say that unless observed thing can be everything.
- Believe in "Fun" : The world exist because it's fun for somebody.
I found those to explain everything.
Then again, when the flying spaghetti monster will call us for judgment I'll found out the universe don't actually make sense.

Bravo, the artwork is well done and its very amusing.
Probably might find it amusing, but I would actually be happy if Shiva popped out of the sky; at least then I could say I had a supernatural/religious experience. Besides, if I remember correctly, one of the incarnations of Shiva was as a teacher of music & wisdom; as opposed to the Bible which (again if memory serves) as little to no praise for intelligence or wisdom.

What sucks, is that pretty much every religion worships the same deity, but call him/her/it a different name. I can imagine them all going to the afterlife, eager to meet god.....and learning that IT'S THE SAME GOD, and he/she/it looks NOTHING like what they thought. They'll all get to the afterlife, and learn THEY WERE WRONG. And god will just be all "Lol XD" because he/she/it has an amazing sense of humor.

I believe that they are seeing the many facets of the same god. And, when they get to the afterlife, they will see him/her/it as the whole entity that is what most people refer to as God. And, if they are fundamentalist in their polytheistic beliefs, they will be rather shocked. Being a spiritualist, I believe that god is an entity that can't be described, and resembling a feeling of knowing. You can't see this entity, but you know it's there.

Quite possibly yes. I won't say I don't believe in Jesus.....but I most definitely don't look at him the same as everyone else. And my regards to the bible are.....varied. I'm spiritual, not having a specific religion. But, if I were forced to pick, I'd say I'm a Wiccan. I'm sorry if what I've said offends you, it wasn't intended to be so.

I never thought you were preaching. I was just saying that what I said could possibly say that the bible is a lie, or insane, and that I'm sorry if that upsets you. I'll borrow the book from my library....I have lots of books already and not enough room for them all XD
