Bernd was adopted to a jewish family to Poland, and he was brought to Auschwitz where he picked up a fight with the camp guards. Later Kolbe took him out from the camp and taught him to torture and kill. He lost his right eye, four fingers and the corner of his mouth were cut when he was tortured.

Christoff was forced to join the Wehrmact after the Crystal Night. Needles to say that he messed around. After the conquer of Poland he was forced to join the SS because of his sniper skills. And needles to say the messed around in the SS too.

Helga's (her real name is Hildergard) family died in the WW1 and she was adopted to the countryside. She was her adoptive parents little princess and learned how to manipulate them. She joined the SS and became second leader of the torture and interrogation troop and got name the Ice Queen of the SS from her cold and cruel acts.

Eisler was a simple shopkeeper who took care of his family before the nazis. He joined the Nazi party and later he joined the torture and interrogation troop. First he was Brandt's superior but later they both had to watch after Christoff.

Brandt was born in Siberia and moved to Moscow where he worked as an assassin. He had to move away when he got Stalin's anger to him when he didn't kill Lev Trotsky. Since he was part german he went to the Nazi Germany and worked at frirst as an assassin. He had to kill Kolbe, but instead of killing him, Brandt joined him.

Kolbe fought in WW1 and his friends betrayed him and left to the battlefield to die. He didn't die but he got bomb shards tp his face and lost his ear. Later he joined the SS and created a torture and interrogation troop and became that notoious troop's sadistic leader. All information from that troop were distroyed because the higher ups of the SS got to know that the tortured were eaten.
Kolbe is holding his head because his other side is torturing his mind or he just have a terrible headache.
