Description Well, well, well, me cluttering you inboxes with pictures once more. Perhaps I'm just a tad bit picture happy?

Anywho, these are the three golden goddesses from Lengend of Zelda. Though instead of being golden figurines, I gave them a more Hylian appearance and clothing.

The one with blue hair is Nayru, goddess of wisdom and water because water is a calm under current of power like wisdom. I gave her a mainly purple outfit because purple used to be the color of royalty and rulers should be wise. She also has the silver hair from her temples because all her wisdom gives her a more aged look. She has a silver glow because a friend (through randomness mind you) said that silver is the color of wise people. It stuck. The triforce she holds has a "watery" glow to it.

The one with orange hair is Din, goddess of power and fire, because fire is a very destructive in the wrong times like power. I gave her a red and orange outfit because those are the colors of flames. Her hair ends ignite in flames because very very simply she is the goddess of fire, she is the yongest and by happen-chance the shortest (in my mind). She is using fire energy to hold her triforce up.

The one with forest green hair is Faeore goddess of courage and earth, because earth should be strong and steady. I was going to give her a kimono, but I didn't want to hassle with the lengthy tamoto or short tamoto...I dunno which a goddess would have. Her outfit has very earthen colors. I gave her a green glow because I felt like it. The glow surrounding her triforce is supposed to look like blades of grass.

Oh and they have golden tinted skin and wear lots of gold stuff...in trying to keep them as golden goddess. Please forgive meh! I was layering two shades for the skin, so it might not be so good... yeah...and I forgot to give Din her flaming arms...

Drawn in 5mm pencil, inked in 5mm pen, colored with Prismas and Prangs, Photoshop seven used for some special effects.

Well done, I am a fan of the Legend of Zelda zeries myself. It perhaps being the only series my parents will buy me.

I do like the way you hylian-ized the goddesses, and your choices are indeed fairly accurate. Somehow it looks to me like Nayru's body is leaning forward slightly and Faeore's right hand, in fact the eintire limb, is fairly small in look and looks odd, yet it looks good at the smae time, perhaps it is well done, but too small. As for the skin tone, it is not too bad, however, it could use a little more consistency, but that should come with more practice.

Nyeh...I guess so, le thanks I shall definately be trying out the goddesses again, but perhaps on photoshop, its hard to get a consistant shade with two different colors...>> you know my mom said the same thing about Faeore's arm...and I think you were referencing the left, no?

The shinies/glowies. GLOWIES. There and there and there. *points to the Tri-force pieces and the aura-type dealios about the heads of the fire and earth goddesses*

ohhhh...for the fire about Din and about the triforces...I just made a new layer and made lil' lines of different colors (depending on which goddess I was dealing with)

Din-red, orange-red, orange-yellow
Faeore- three shades of green
Nayru- blues and grays

And smudged up all the little lines to get the proper effect...took some doing

For Faeore's glow...that was really fun. I duplicated the background layer and cut out all of the picture (by lassoing the bits I wanted, inversing the selection, deleting then inversing once more) that didn't consit of Faeore's skin and then went to Layer>>Layer Sytle>>Outer glow I prcedded to make it 100% opaque, the mode was Linear Burn, and messed around with the color, copied the color's hex number (the six-digit code consiting of numbers and capital letters) said okay messed with the size and then went to Inner glow, did the same thing with it, and pasted the Hex code into the color so they would match...

I hope yeh understood that...

*flop* No. @_@ But 's was done in Photoshop or some similar program? 'Cos I'd thought ye'd done it with traditional media.

XD yes, its traditional, but if you read, I said I used photoshop a lil' and if its mostly traditional, you can still submit it as traditional
