Ported to OBJ from the model created by Bruno Escarvage for Microsoft's Combat Flight Simulator 2 (CFS2). Preview picture posed in XNALara XPS. NO MODEL DOWNLOAD..

FNS Belle Poule is one of the official training ships of the French Marine Nationale (FMN) or French Navy. It was built as a replica of a late 1800s Paimpolaise type combination sail-and-motor cod fishing schooner for use by students of the Ecole navale (i.e the FMN Naval Academy), and officially entered service in 1932. She managed to escape the fall of France in May of 1940 along with her sister ship Ecole by sailing to England before the Germans could seize her, and served with the Free French Forces both as a training ship and naval auxiliary (and actually becoming involved in combat numerous times) during World War II. After the war both vessels returned to France and again took up their original roles of training the future officers of the French Navy in basic seamanship. France is quite proud of Belle Poule and routinely gives her periodic overhauls and refits to keep her in top trim, as they do her sister ship Ecole. FNS Belle Poule is also listed on the official world register of operational tall ships, i.e. oceangoing vessels that operate primarily or totally by sail. ASIDE - This is a generic enough looking model that you could probably get away with using it as a general purpose schooner for whatever you might have in mind. The average person isn't going to know that this is actually Belle Poule unless you tell them. You might want to go ahead and both reflag it and take the ship's name off of the textures while you're at it, in case you need to do any closeup poses.
