Description Ported to OBJ from the retail quality waterline Titanic model by Mitsuya "Hama" Hamaguchi, with additional custom Olympic and Britannic wartime textures provided by Michael Barnes (Olympic) and HawkerHurricaneMan (Britannic).  Preview picture posed in XNALara XPS.  NO MODEL DOWNLOAD.

Ahhhh, RMS Titanic.  The stuff that dreams are made of and disaster media gets inspired by.  She still fascinates us today even after all this time (she sank on the night of 15 April 1912).  It should come as no surprise that there are multiple 3D models of her everywhere, ranging from the barely tolerable to the utterly fantastic.  I've ported half-a-dozen or myself for my own use at various times, and I have to say that Hama's is one of the better ones given its surprisingly low poly count (by modern standards).  Best of all, this download pack includes extra models and textures so you can also use Hama's model to depict her sister ships, Olympic and Britannic, during their World War I service as troopship (far right) and hospital ship (far left) respectively.  I've also included a third custom texture of my own, which is simply Hama's original Titanic texture but with the name removed for use in representing any generic Olympic class (or similar type) passenger liner from the World War I era.

This is a waterline model because it was originally created for the Microsoft Flight Simulator series, which normally treats ships as scenery objects (unless otherwise configured) and thus doesn't need anything below the waterline.  Feel free to add your own lower hull, propulsion machinery, and rudder either from scratch or nabbed off of any one of the many other Titanic or Olympic class liner models out there, if you need them for anything you have in mind.

This is not my model.  All I did was port it to OBJ for you, scare up and port the extra World War I textures for Olympic and Britannic, and provide my own additional texture.  Please credit Mitsuya "Hama" Hamaguchi for the original Titanic model and texture, Michael Barnes for the Olympic troopship texture, and HawkerHurricaneMan for the Britannic hospital ship texture.  You do not have to credit me either for my part or for my included prewar generic Olympic class texture.
