Here's a GOOD YouTube link for the original version of "Monster Illusion" (Part 2) - this time from the soundtrack from the two-part episode "The Menagerie." Long story there, go look it up. Anyway, the BGM begins at 25:53 and ends at 26:30.

It's the edited version, sadly (unless you use the link for the fan version, which has the first and good half), but at least you'll get the idea. Now do you know why I chose this BGM for this scene?
