"Prelude"

Well along in years since the last time we last saw her at the end of Wedding Bells, Brandy Watts takes a two week vacation from her new singing career to spend some time with her daughter Nancy, her son-in-law Matt, and her three grandchildren in her old home town of Middleton. For Brandy it is a time to rest, recharge her batteries, and reminisce ... remembering her days as a young woman, as she tells her eager grandchildren stories about her youth and her courtship with the grandfather they never knew, her late husband Larry. This is the setup for the Tales of Autumn Spring (ToAS) anthology series.

I had to leave out the grandchildren in this title card because I'm still having issues with their models. Sorry.

Matt Hansen is the strapping young fellow at the far left. He's Nancy's husband and the son of Alan and Jodie Hansen, both of whom you might remember from the cast of the original Autumn Spring series. They'll be getting their own scene in "Prelude" a little later. Anyway, and as I've said many times before, I always intended for RE6's Finn Macauley to play the part of Matt. Thanks to some custom work on his original head model by adngel a while back (adding proper hair and ears!) I get to do that, so there you go.

Nancy Hansen's model is a straight reuse of my old revamped take on an Elza Walker (RE1.5) casual model from years ago, but with KitMartin's later and fan-preferred Sudden Attack 2 custom head instead of my old one. Can't use that one, because it was my "Miss Cupcake" OC and she's playing Brandy in Autumn Spring, right? Right! I still get to play off the likeness between them in ToAS, given that they're both daughter and mother respectively. XD

You might also remember the house in the background from Wedding Bells. That's the house that Larry and Brandy bought right after they were married in Autumn Spring's third season, and as novelized in Wedded Bliss, in "The House Hunt."
