Cranky Kong: I originally had someone else planned for this character, but I had to go with Gunny in the end. Reason being that he could be cranky, sound convincing when talking about the old days, AND throw one heck of a temper tantrum. 'Nuff said.

Funky Kong: I watched the old Sprite commercials featuring Miles Thirst...he was HILARIOUS. Reno could add the kind of exaggerated "hip" or "with it" and his cartoony voices have a kind of zaniness that Funky's possessed recently. I'd cite some of Reno's other works, but I fear that people might hate all of them except for Sazh Katzroy.

Swanky Kong: Look at this guy. He has sparkly teeth, owns dozens of games in the DK series, and everything about him practically screams for LaMarr to be one of, if not THE, best role.

Wrinkly Kong: I originally had Deborah Strang for this role, but I couldn't find an adequate picture of her and Google searches proved unfruitful. In the end, I had to go with one of the voice acting veterans and I think it really worked out here.

Candy Kong: I really don't know where I came up with this one. Maybe it was because I envisioned Candy as having a deep, yet still identifiably female voice. Maybe Katy Sagal/Leela just came to me. I don't know.

Squawks: Gilbert Gottfried playing a bird with a squawky voice...what else do I need to say about this? And by the by, keep all your gripes about the guy to yourself, please.
