This map is of the Earth 50,000 years after the interstellar object altered its orbit. The ice and water has stabilized worldwide, after a long period of rapid changes. The organisms haven't had enough time to recover from the event, but when they do, this will be the world they live in.

There's a lot of interesting results here. The ice has engulfed much of North America and Asia, and virtually all of Europe, while a few places in the southern hemisphere get their own ice sheets. Almost all high-altitude areas across the globe are covered in glaciers. Meanwhile, the lowered sea levels have produced many new geographical features. Many small islands across the world have gotten larger, while a whole new subcontinent, Sundaland (east of India), has appeared. Shallow seas have become salty lakes, such as the Balearic Lake, Tyrrhenian Lake, and West Mediterranean Sea that replaced the old Mediterranean.

Speaking of names, I had a field day coming up with some of these. Most of the visible islands are the result of several smaller islands fusing, so I just named the resulting island after the largest previous one. Islands or island chains that are essentially new got completely new names, such as Lapita (east of Australia), named after the prehistoric Lapita culture that once lived there. Others just got the "s" taken off of them, such as Galapagos Island (west of South America), which replaced the Galapagos Islands, which I think is pretty funny.
