I was diagnosed with BDD I just wish people would take more concience or consideration for people like us, just because I'm not anorexic doesn't mean I can't hate my body

Isn't that when a person exaggerates how ugly they they are? No matter how gorgeous they really look and they see themselves as deformed or something?

I saw a True Life special on it.
But I came in late, and it's been a while since I've seen it, so I'm a little shakey on the details

Yes, it's so strange that it's not talked about as much as say, anorexia, since so many people have this, and sufferers of this disorder are at a very high risk of suicide.

I actually found out about it through the lead singer of Garbage, Shirely Manson, who is said to be a sufferer of BDD...
It's one of the most less talked about Body image disorders.
