Description
This is a picture of a character from my Marvel/Power Rangers/TMNT fanfiction story world.
These are the characters known as Cloak and Dagger from my my X-Force Neo story arc.
Tyrone Johnson (Cloak), and Tandy Bowen were two runaways from New York that ran afoul of a ruthless drug dealer who ended up kidnapping the two and subjecting them to gruesome idrug injections. It was later revealed that the Drug Dealer was an agent of Mister Sinister, and he was preforming experiments on his behalf in order to activate the latent mutant genes in people. Tandy and Tyrone were the only survivors of his first batch of experiments, and they developed inverse but complimentary powers of light and darkness.
Tyrone, who took the name Cloak, has powers over shadow and darkness. He can project darkness from his body, which is actually a sapping force that drains energy, including light, from that which it envelops. While it is called 'life force' it actually drains a living being of both bio-electricity and calories, literally starving every living cell of it's life-giving energy. If left on a living being or other object for too long, it can starve it to death. It can also drain electricity, heat and even radiation from objects. The sapping field is powerful and often uncontrollable, though a blast from Dagger's light daggers can dissipate the draining field. Cloak uses a simple cloak to hold back the field against his body, and unfurls it to unleash its force. As a secondary mutation, Cloak can also use the shadowy force to teleport, apparently using a connection to the extra-dimension the shadowy energy comes from in order to teleport in a manner similar to Nightcrawler, though those entering the shadowy dimension do take mild exposure to the shadow force unless protected by Dagger's light.
Tandy's powers manifest as the ability to generate searing blades of light in the shape of daggers that she can fire off from her hand. These daggers radiate light, heat and kinetic force, and are useful for stunning most living being at normal power, but it can be increased to a powerful piercing force if the enemy she is fighting is inorganic, armoured, or just plain tough. She can also radiate this energy in a field out from her body.
The pair's powers complement each other well, as in addition to Dagger's powers negating Cloaks, each one symbiotically helps the other. Cloak's powers need to feed on energy, and Dagger's powers provide an easy source of energy and stops him from needing to draining heat or electricity from other sources. Tandy also has a source for her excessive energy build up, as it can constantly build until it overloads, giving her a safe outlet to fire at.
After their mutations developed, they used them to escape their prison and then to take revenge on Sinister for all those kids he experimented on that weren't so lucky, working alongside X-Force in the process but coming to blows when they wanted blood, eventually settling their vendetta without spilling blood.
I drew Cloak in his normal cloaked form as well as Dagger in my standard revealing and modest variations of her costume.
