Description
This time, she brought a selection of her drones. Geared up for a small war.Photoshopped image using pieces and bits of game concept art, those being Ghost Recon Future Soldier, The Witcher and Metal Gear Solid 4, as well as the cover of the Shadowrun book Spy Games. All copyrighted by Sony CE and whoever publishes The Witcher, and CGL Game Labs. Not meaning to infringe on anything.
Edit: Finally, FINALLY managed to add an actual Ares Alpha. Thanks for the spiffy new image in the boxed set file, CGL. A bit higher-resolution would have been cool, though. Gun is built using bits of all Ares Alpha SR arts (lines are mostly the old, Mike Jackson, image) and bits of the old XM8 art I've been using so far (the sight, the grenade launcher pistol grip, the shock padding).
More Edit: A hopefully better gun.

I have no beloved, I covet her greatly, she is very beautiful and I would love to run with her. I would give her some coffee beans and some poison for her knives, and some extra knives perhaps. I can't walk without holding on to things, thus I would run because I needed some help with an exoskeleton to be able to balance without falling down, and a doc I could trust for that purpose. Also I loathe and despise the bankers behind the Third Corporate War, and wish to hang them by their own intestines while they are still alive.

Looks like the M14 bullpup variant. Check it out. And the stock reminds me of a UTS-15.

It's actually based on a sketch in a gaming book that also featured guns based on early proptotypes of the P90, so it may well be based on that (the book was released in 1994). The stock is cobbled together from bits of a XM8, actually, but to the original sketch's design, which indeed has a lot of similarities.

The updated gun still looks awesome, despite being a wee bit low res. It's not that noticeable unless you look real close imho

Yeah, I think I'll need to go over it again, especially the central and lower parts. Needs more clear lines. Damn, it's kinda frustrating if you only have lo-rez files to work with.

You could try sharpening it by running the gun over with a layer of extra lines in the places it needs definition to make it appear sharper. Wouldn't help the texture much but it's something. The tip of the gun also looks a bit odd on closer inspectionΒ Β

Yeah, that got brutally distorted. I think I'll add more bits from the xm8. It has too many nooks and crannies anyway. And do away with the glowy bits.

Creative reassembly is art in an of itself. Properly attributed it likely falls within the law around tm as fair use depending on the percentage of any one image used.
