FAQ

What is Distorted Party?
Distorted Party is a Mario Party 3 mod with the sole purpose of replacing the existing 6 boards in that game with custom-made ones made by yours truly. The boards focus on my art and fictional world that has been created over the years. Along with some fun TF-like boards. The download contains a ROM of Mario Party 3 which you can use on an emulator in order to play on these boards, along with a bunch of other goodies. This is well and truly Mario Party with brand new board layouts and design to give the game a brand new feeling.

What do I need to play this?
A computer/laptop powerful enough to run very basic 3D games and an emulator that runs N64 games (Preferably Project64, as this was made for that emulator specifically)

Why does this exist?
I've always enjoyed Mario Party, and wished I could make my own content for it. Upon finding a tool that allows for quite literally that, I was beyond passionate to make some custom boards. Starting with DistortInc. that
I played with some friends, I realised the potential and just kept creating boards, to the point where I had a full games' worth of them, all with a unique gimmick.

Does it also replace the minigames?
Sadly, no. There are limitations with my ability and to program new minigames would require extensive knowledge of N64 hardware and coding, both of which I lack skills for. However, all 6 boards in the original Mario Party 3 are brand new and unique, each having their own gimmick. This means you can have a fresh new board experience AND bring in your mastery of the minigames!

What do I do if I find a problem with the game?
Let me know as soon as possible! I've been slaving over making sure the install process works perfectly and is clear as possible to explain within the download. I'm hoping as I upload this that there will be no issues, but if there is one let me know so I can update the game and replace the download as soon as possible!

I need an N64 emulator, but don't know which website to trust. Where can I find one?
