Description
August 28th, 2012 - Fixed the description. Thanks to `electricjonny for pointing it out.
July 23rd, 2012 - After four years of inactivity and countless emails asking me to bring it back, the script has been fixed and now works with the latest version of DeviantART, as well as Google Chrome! I hope it continues to make it easier for you to scrap your deviations and clean up your gallery.

Because it highlights something they forgot to include in the still incomplete redesign?
I guess it would have made sense to have seen this and created the feature themselves rather than DDing it.

Oh right, well then I can't help but wonder why you dont consider something that improves the general user experience of this, a community powered website something that should be featured.
There are galleries for these things, and gallery directors that can choose to feature them.
Surely you must agree that simple things that can improve the experience of us, the users is something that should be shared among the entire community?
Well that's exactly what featuring one of these does.

I get what you mean by it helping the general user with scrapping their images, and yes they should be shared with the whole of the community. But, I don't think that one such as this should be featured, that's just my opinion though

Actually, that's what the deviantART Related > Browser Scripts and Extensions category is for
It may not be art to the standards most would like it to meet, but it is something that has to do with the community, as all the scripts and helpful items in that category (which a lot of have been DD'd btw

They actually left the feature out in dAv5.
And highlight isn't really the word for it, this is a whole new button, simple to any coder, hard to any normal user, who knows.
I simply did it because of the growing number of people asking for this in the forums.
It seemed smart as it would stop some un-needed threads taking up the forum with the same question asked 10 minutes ago.
Pretty simple work for me anyway, so why not!
And they didn't feature it, a gallery director did

I know the feature isn't there at present.. but to be fair, a lot of the "Version 5" site is still not finished.
The whole V5 launch was a huge anticlimax for me.
It looks a LOT nicer.. but they havnt even themed some areas of the site yet!
If they could leave something like that for so long, then I wouldnt be surprised if they simply "forgot" that there used to be a button like this.
They can only convince me that "it'll be worth it" and "it's necessary" for so long before I start to question what it really is they are doing.
haha, anyway.. there, off in the distence. There is the tangent, and I just went there.

haha, well what i heard a while back was that they were holding back the message center because of its deep intergration with other areas of the site.
I guess it's something big.. but right now it has to be considering how long it's been left.
