Very nice piece!
If I can offer one small critique, I think her pose may be a little TOO dynamic - particularly around the hips. It sorta makes me wonder what her shamisen/sanxian's body is resting on. Then again, Exalted is all about ramped-up action; and in Creation, an anti-gravity instrument isn't out of the question.
Anyway, I love the overall structure - the character's face has a great sense of expression, and the attention to detail on the sanxian is lovely.

So glad to see you back posting on dA, Django. You did a magnificent job with the subject and her instrument. You were able to include tools of her trade without making her look clunky.
Additionally, the way she is holding the instrument looks like she is trying to display it as a work of her craftsmanship but the musician in her can't keep her fingers from curling possessively around the neck ready to make a chord.
