I put this one up to get an opinion from you guys on the lightsaber effect im trying out. The picture isnt done yet, and this image will soon go to scraps, but i just wanted to get your opinion on it before i go any further..Related content

i like this. i think that you could make it brighter, also, though. have it super bright on the inside, and add some darkness down at the base, and around the outside. also, giving it an outer glow, (an aura type area), and some of that glow on his clothes and things later on can help too.~

Yes, i put a little bit of a glow on his clothes, but i wasnt quite sure where the light would hit on him though. As for making it brighter, i'll deffinetly try, but the problem when i tried it before was that it made his saber very...pink...and that have been cool for pansy vader in the original trilogy, but this guy is a DARKsider. none of this "Why doesnt anybody love me?! schtick. hhahahahah

xDD for the redness, i guess you could just go with a saturated red. just a really (eye burning) xDD bright red, or something. stay in the reds, just go up. yea xDD and i guess.. that the glow would hit where ever the saber is, that sticks up on his clothes~
(do you think i could color this? and note it to you or something, to show you what i mean? im.. awful at describing things xDDD)

I find it pretty good, it really lloks like a light saber. Maybe the end bit can be changed in a way, but it can also stay this way, does nt botter , really

Well I'll go for that, but in the first ones (er... this gonna make my head explosed... episode IV, V and VI) they look more pointy ^^ like a really pointy flame or something.
