I found this BEAUTIFUL photograph [link] in ~eemotional 's gallery, and I just had to draw from it. And I've seen lots of gorgeous elf pictures on DA recently so I incorporated that into this little elf girl
Still drawn from reference, but this time I tried to overlay some lineart of my own design over the face's framework, rather than just to follow contours. I think it looks better, if looser, this way.
This was also inspired by the work of =Lumaris ; specifically the mouth area; I love the little cheek-dots of [link] so I used a similar technique here.
Please note me if you'd like to colour! I may do so sometime as well.
Adobe Photoshop CS4, 2 hours.

Beautiful lines. The pose is natural and flowing and the features are very well worked.
I've colored it without note you, sorry. Sometimes I mixed everybody's rules on good behavior

JPEG, maximum quality progressive. I find they get ruined less by DA.
