Description
The sixth one in the series. Technically. Though I'm not actually counting the one I made for the bowling alley I mentioned in a last posting since that one stands on its own. This time around, I went with a leopard print scheme as per one of my wife's suggestions. She really likes my Base Slappin' Babe color pic [link] ..so she said why not reproduce it on one of the bowling pins? So I did. And added a little more to it, changing colors around, but basically the same.
Enjoy!!
Oh! BTW..I changed the head (end pin) of the bass to reflect it's correct configuration since my original color version was upside down!!

So cool! I love the contrast of the leopard print with the babe ^_^ You know eventually you'll have to paint a ball to go with all these pins!

Amazing job on the spots.
You're going to need a turntable or something to display ones like this where the picture wraps around so much....
Which just gave me an idea... a picture that wraps around and feeds into itself.

The turn table idea has crossed my mind many times. My other solutions are, setting the pins in front of a mirror so's the reverse can be seen (though backwards). Or, in a gallery setting, put them on pedestals in the center of a room or thereabouts and let the viewers walk around them. But if and when I do decide to sell them, the buyer will be the one to decide how to display it in their home or private gallery.
Though for a good turntable, I need to find one of those rotisserie motors that you put on bbqs. I used to have one when I was a kid. Used in conjunction with my Tinkertoys and Erector set to make things turn, etc. ..but have since lost it. But those things turn very slowly for the most part and lend themselves to modifying quite easily.

Rotisserie motors have a lot of oomph. There's probably something cheaper available somewhere. But it'll be obscure. Probably some store display supplier.
