Description
A basic pin. I did the usual prep work, then started with a base metallic coat spray paint, then I (kinda) pinstriped on the flamage. The paints I used is one of my favs which I don't get to use that often is One Shot enamels [link] a fav of most pinstripers. This paint is a little more forgiving then acrylics since you can wipe off your f*ck ups with a rag dowsed in a little paint thinner and start again. Of course the drying time is around 24 hours (give or take), and you also don't have to used a protective clear coat, unless you feel inclined to.I kinda' like the two tone black/black metallic look. I think I will utilize this technique again in the future..!
Enjoy!
BTW..check out that One Shot site and click on the "gallery"..lotsa cool art from some great artists!!
