There's always that one person in the horror movies who ignores all the warnings.No Fnaf parody would be complete without a Phone Guy. Here's he's the guy Doc's filling in for. And Doc took the job because Fazbear Entertainment cuts corners in most place to pay people a lot. Like having a certain amount of energy stored in the generator after its switched off. (Most of their profits go to their crack team of lawyers.)
Clearly Scott put more care into the game-play than the actual story.

Of course someone has to do something rash/crazy/stupid, it's a horror movie ^_^
But yeah, most of the story effort went into planting clues for the lore, but frankly it has so little to do with your actions in-game it feels like another story entirely.

Yeah. The story seems largely unconnected to the play characters.
In the first three games at least.

I like to think the plotholes are a homage to cheesy horror movies. See, that's the great thing about making a horror game like this. You can say any flaw is a homage.
