A goofy image, it stems from a low period I had a few years ago. Seeking motivation and levity, I somehow stumbled upon the most ridiculous rallying cry I could think of: AVAST!
And though many things happened to help pull me up from that period, I credit the goofy, piratical "Avast" to starting my journey upward.
Its a little tough to keep feeling gloomy when you stare at your problems in the eye and holler something a salty sea pirate would yell to their grizzled captain.

So, if you're feeling a bit blue, perhaps try something new. Plant your feet firmly on the ground. Fill your lungs. Look skyward. And yell "AVAST" at the top of your voice.
And charge forward.
