Description
I reactivated the charm, gaining my fishtail again, and Opal and I returned to the kingdom after I completed her drawing. She dropped me off at Citrine's school, where she was teaching a class. The castle was a few miles away.

I peeked in the schoolhouse. Apparently, she had the students (around six years of age) bring pictures of their best friends. Citrine decided to do her own assignment, and was showing her students her best friends, who I knew on DA. I'll introduce them later. I snapped a photo during her lecture and waited outside the schoolhouse for the bell to ring.

The bell rang minutes later and the kids burst out of the room. When the last child left the room, I entered, closing the door behind me. "Hello, Miss Citrine," I said.

Citrine turned to face me and smiled. She then swam into my arms and kissed me on the cheek. "What a surprise to see you here," she said happily.

"I have come from the surface to draw you and your sisters again. Would you mind?"

Citrine smiled. "Of course you may. I'll be grading papers while you do that."

I was too tall to sit in the kids' desk, so I drew her while laying on the floor, which thankfully had a soft carpet. Neither of us minded. At one point I accidentally called her Madison (the mermaid Daryl Hannah plays from Splash) because she bears a very strong resemblance to her. If they stood next to each other (provided Citrine gets legs), you'd think they were seperated at birth.

It took a few hours, but I finished Citrine's drawing and showed it to her. She absolutely loved it. Because I wasn't her student, she wasn't able to grade it. I didn't care. She still gave me a scale and a kiss. To me, that's better than an A+.

Citrine is dedicated to two amazing redheads on DA. First, the extremely talented and beautiful . She deserves a special nod because this amazing artist inspired me to create these Birthstone Mermaids in the first place. Be sure that you thank this wonderful deviant. The redhead on the top of Citrine's project is her!

Citrine also goes out to one of my best friends on DA , who loves my mermaids, and thought I looked "very cute" in my Doctor Evil pose I did before I drew these mermaids. She's the one on the bottom of Citrine's project.
