My latest project in Photoshop CS4, and my homework assignment for my photoshop class. This was a blast to make!!

Funny, I always thought homework was supposed to suck. This one was fun. What is the world coming to?

This is the restaurant menu for Mario and Luigi's Superstar Diner. I used the title screen from Super Mario Bros. for the NES and stretched the sky to fit it on legal size paper (8.5x14). The best part was when I just had the logo pictured, three of my classmates commented on how cool this would look. Even my teacher, a gamer , thought so too! What a great vote of confidence!

I included major food items throughout the Mario series, including the mushrooms, Fire Flowers, and Super Stars.
I also added the cooks from the first two Paper Mario games to liven things up. I changed Zess T's unpleasant scowl into a more pleasant expression. Several characters from the Mario universe place recommendations for your taste buds' amusement! I added the blocks from Mario Bros. 3 to present the items, description, and price (in coins).

There's even a tribute to Shigeru Miyamoto in there. Not sure what his favorite foods are, but the staff seems to like it a lot! Use your imagination on that one.

The drinks, save the KeroKero Cola from Mario RPG, come from Paper Mario. I took the Soda Pop sprite and changed it red for Coke products. Many restaurants you go to serve Coke products. Perhaps Mario and Luigi miss drinks from their homeworld from time to time.

I also stuck the Nintendo Seal of Quality on there for kicks. Even though I hated Yoshi's Story, I included the Super Happy Tree for the sake of my love for the fruit it bears. I called the light green melons it bears Sweet Melons, since all the Yoshi's love it (and they're babies, and they love sweets).

And if you show up in the morning, raid the breakfast bar!

Make sure when you stop by this diner, your wallet is full and your stomach is empty!

I don't know about you guys, but I'd eat there!
