Massive thanks to for making the spiffy title remix!If I could get a small group together, I would so definitely, positively remake a HD version of SMB3. To me, All-Stars didn't do it justice. Super Mario Advance 4 was pretty decent enough, but I want a version that captures the true spirit and flare of the original, oh well.
Anyway, a little while ago it occurred to me that in the [original title screen] has a lot of pauses and inactivity between the actions (like, why does the Goomba drop down then just stand there for a bit...?), leaving me wondering how I would fill the gaps. So after two weeks of animating, I now know!

it was. or do you meen there needs to be a remake of the game, coz nintendo doesnt do that with many games. so far, i can only say they've done that wit hsuper mario 64, kirby super star, and legend of zelda: ocarina of time

Fantastic interpretations on what the animation would have looked like if it could look this lively. I especially loved the opening skit with Mario and Luigi working together instead of Luigi just pouncing on Mario's head. And Mario's bow out is way better than what looked to be Mario running away in fear from four measly turtles.

Thank you! If a HD project were ever to happen the art would be bumped up closer to the style of the old artwork, not unlike this [link] (obviously with a whole lot more effort put into it)
Do you have any experience with game programming? I'm not actively looking for programmers per se, but if you have any examples of your work I could look at, maybe we could make something (if you were willing of course)?

A little bother, however, is one thing that I never got about the [original] intro: "Why is it that when Mario and Luigi get hit by the shell, all they get is a slight headache, but Mario shrinks upon getting hit the second time?" Strange.
