Description
The sequel to Initiation will have to wait for a while, so I wanna do some more standalone art for this AU in the meantime (I'm trying to use 'em as study breaks). This is actually something relatively recent I came up with, while thinking about how Hyness became Magolor's father in the first place.

I actually have no problem with him being his bio-dad (I mean, minus the inevitable question of who the mother would be...9_9). But this idea was just too much fun to not use, and it kinda seems like a Hyness-y thing to do.

I was thinking he would have received some sign or prophecy about who his successor should be, and decided it would be necessary to find the child and raise him in Jambastion. So he'd track down the parents, do some ranting, and ask them to give him up.

Naturally, they'd refuse to hand their baby over to the creepy cult (who wouldn't) and Hyness would be like "OK" and leave peacefully...then come back later and do what needed to be done. ^^

I think what I enjoy the most about this idea (besides the vivid image of H cuddling a cute baby while standing over the bodies of the parents he slaughtered) is the fact that it has literally no bearing on the rest of the AU. Mags would have no way of knowing about it, Hyness would never see any reason to tell him, and there's no one left alive who has any idea what happened. It's just a random, creepy piece of trivia~
