You modelled with archicad and rendered with 3DS Max and Vray?

Yes.
Archicad is a really good program. Easy to use and very efficient.
Textures and trees were made in 3DS Max.

Why not render with Artlantis? Really good with Archicad.

Yes It is true. The Artlantis is a really good program.
Very easy to use, but it has limitation.
If you want to do a good picture in short time you can use the Artlantis.
But I have enough time and I would like to create a really realistic picture so I choosed the V-ray.

For the Gurus, and commercial renderers. For architects just wanting to show case their design and which often comes with lots of redesign.

For commercial purposes might just take the max and vray lessons

If you wanted to creat beautifull reallistic pictures, you would take max, vray and ps lessons too.
It is a best group of visualisation.
Good luck!

Just started with Revit architecture for faster modelling, working drawings and documentations, then Max and later Vray, if am not too old will add Photoshop.

Yes, the Revit is a good program. Not easy to use,a little bit too complicated becouse it is a young program but there are lot of very good thing in it.
My favourite is the archicad. Easy to use but there are some limitation.
If you dont know these programs I recommend the Archicad. Easier for the beginners.

Get folk that were formal trained in the use of ArchiCad is common in these parts. Revit has certified training centres here. The difficulty is partly due to the fact that is has a lot of documentation to do, schedules(material, finishes, doors, windows etc) detailing, sections, elevations, plans etc

Started Revit Architecture training today.

I had a three day long training with Revit.
You can do everything in 3D with Revit, but as I know you can't use lines.
In my opinion to creat correct documentations it is a really hard work in Revit.

I hope you will like this program, because it has lot of advantages too.
Have fun with the training.

My schedule I know cannot accommodate a three crash training so am going for the long haul. In autocad documentation is repetitive as update on one of the drawings needs to be done on all other parts too. If you are use to it as in my case no problem.

from the starting class of Revit I see what you mean as I have to master so many things.

Thanks for the advise and encouragement.

Archicad can do almost everything.

Thanks.
