#16 - A rough concept of a sort of Youtube dystopia I’ve had for a while, finally sat down and hashed it out the last few pieces after watching Mark’s SOMA playthough.
I adore cyberpunk, and I love dystopian settings. So here’s a not to distant future concept of what content creation could be like if the companies backing youtubers had infinite tech, power, and absolutely no qualms in hooking their talent up to transmission systems for as long as it was profitable.
Jeez, when I write it out like that it’s pretty dark, but I hope its…thought provoking?
Inspirations include: Ghost in the Shell, The Matrix, SOMA, Religious Iconography and “Time is Running Out” by Muse

I don't know why, but when I saw your (amazing) fan art I remind the lyrics from "Gasoline" by Halsey:
"You’re part of a machine, you are not a human being
