Bio: Soon after Artemis was born, Celestia became saddened by the fact that her sister had found a husband and had a foal, yet she had none. She spent a few years afterwards seeking a suitor, but found none particularly good. She gave up the search and became trapped in depression.
Discord, hurt by her sadness, created a son for her to take care of, Apollo. Celestia got out of her depression quickly and happily decided to take care of her new son, and raise him to be the nice Prince of Equestria.
Apollo was sheltered in the castle most of his life, but made friends with many of the staff. He was known as very charismatic and silly, and all loved him. He grew up to look very handsome, and had many suitors.
Unfortunately, none of the suitors would get close, for the young prince had his eyes on a certain half-dragon apple farmer (*cough* Apple Jewel *cough*). The two eventually got together.
He is silly, but when serious he is a very hard worker and very dedicated to the well-being of Equestria.
He loves his mother, and thinks she is the most amazing mare in all of Equestria.
He loves to hang around Sweet Apple Acres and Ponyville in general to see his friends and marefriend.
He often gets himself into trouble with his carefree attitude and tendency to playfully insult ponies.
