My automail for cosplaying as Edward Elric, but that's me being very Winry in the middle. =3

I used a pattern I found online as well as multiple pictures of Ed to get the basic idea on how to make it, as I'm trying to make it as close to perfect as possible, minus me actually missing an arm. It is still a huge work in process however. I'm having a few problems with the blade sliding out correctly, fittings, visible skin needs to be hidden...etc.

The thing is that unlike most, I'm doing this the hard way. The hand is painted, and yes that means after a con, I have to re-paint it in parts where the paint faded. But I like it as it looks so highly realistic (the pictures don't do it justice) that that's what I'll do for a good cosplay.

Eventually I'll probably switch to Wonderflex...XD When that happens I'll either sell this or get it to Vic Mignogna.

Automail Hand made with: Green craft foam, Terra Bella Finishes - Metallic Accent Wax: Antique Silver, black elastic, black string.

Grill made with: Green craft foam, black elastic, black string, metallic silver sign vinyl, and snaps to hold it together.
