In today's ordinary life, ppl don't have money to buy statues like that from the past 100-200 years,
also almost every cemetery looks quite the same - you see one, you've seen all...pretty boring, if you
ask me...these old stone dresser and sculptors are the *real* artists for me...but that was a very
long time ago...doesn't fit in today's "lifestyle" and -times...sad, but true...

So true. I saw some grave stones and statues from the 1700's. they are truly amazing

Yes. Other lost arts that were truly masterful were also lost, like locksmiths, blacksmiths and also watch making. Most things are factory produced these days. Locks were very unique in the earlier eras
