Ya know I read somewhere, I forgot where but in godzilla vs mechagodzilla, baragon was supposed to fight mecha g while he was disguised as godzilla not angurius. The reason why baragon was replaced by angurius however, was due to how the baragon suit was on loan to tsuburya studios who were utilizing the baragon suit to create the monster neronga and the more obscure monsters pagos and gabora

Baragon wouldn't have lasted longer than Anguirus, in fact he wouldn't have lasted a few minutes. He is the second smallest Toho kaiju being 30 meters and not having any real special powers like most kaiju.

Looks nice. I like the texture around the legs a lot. Shows off all those wonderful little wart like bumps. The purple in the back plating is also a nice touch as well. Ears could be bigger though

Always been very fond of Baragon but this is one powerful take. Loving the Godzilla-esque stance he's got going. Keep up the great work!

I think you should try more to get out of the Toho style. Try making these gigantic creatures, but without have to fit a person in as a suit. Go crazy, and do more realistic Legendary style portraits. Calm down on making everything jut out so it can be seen from afar. The tiniest details are important. Don't imagine this as the final alteration of this species, no one is perfect. For instance, I see Anguirus as a protoceratopsian in that he is evolving into another animal with a big crest like Centrosaurus. These are animals, correct? Maybe it's just my preference.

I see what you mean. And I appreciate the ideas. But I'm not trying to dinosaurize these monsters. I'm not trying to fit them into categories of existing species or extinct species. I just like making the Toho suits, but a bit more realistic, and a bit more detailed. Sometimes I go nuts, some times I stay very close. I'm glad you comment tho. Thanks. And comment more ! 😀
