Secondly: This is an absolutely stunning picture...simply stunning.

I've spent the afternoon writing experiements in noir, so my head's primed for a pessimistic reading of this that at other times I might not have.
Consequently, I read the character on the right as an obsessive who has captured (perhaps not literally) the object of his affection. However, like many obsessives, he is unable to experience the real flawed humanity of his love object, only the image of perfection he has created in his own mind.
Regardless of its 'real' meaning, it's a beautiful image.
As for the homophobes, they'd be funny if they weren't so dangerous. Boo! Hiss! Get a life!

the tinting is nice.. you were obviously onto a winner with this idea, and well done. it was a pleasure modelling for you (if you can call it that). i'd actually like to do some modelling (as opposed to the photographing) at some point, as long as my face isn't in the image. the image is well composed and i'm glad that after a few preliminary attempts you got the perfect image. apologies for not checking up on this earlier but DA tends to kill my computer as i only have 56k. thank you once again!

I don't usually comment on photography; as a writer I feel completely stupid doing so not knowing anything about it. But I saw this - and I couldn't stay away. I want this on my page. So I'm agonna favorite it.
And also, I am literally shocked at the amount of ignorance and homophobia people have. Really. Shocked. I suppose that makes me ignorant to ignorance, or some such connundrum.
