Hey there... thanks for the kind words!
Which of my themes did you try and had a pale font in folder menu? A screenshot would help a lot so I would know what exactly to fix.
The first feature of my theme is usability so I just don't design for the sake of aesthetics but for improving one's productivity and desktop environment.
This being said, there are monitors with really bad contrast which make pretty much any theme look worse unless you use the default windows theme which has too much contrast and looks really bad in my opinion.
If you want I can send you a download link for any theme and if you like using it, you can get it afterward on gumroad.
