Fergus... We need to have a talk... I know that you're trying to be a hero and that you're desperately trying to save Nule's life from what probably amounts to the wizard mafia. And that you're doing so at a great personal risk to yourself and everything you hold dear... But you haven't adequately explained this situation to Nule.So your platitudes translate to 'Shut the hell up and don't move a muscle or I'll kill you.' And whispering your mysterious instructions into your clenched fists isn't comforting either. Because all he has while he's trapped between your big ugly hands is a fantastic view of your big pointy, goblin-munching teeth in his face. Not to mention your breath...
I mean... your heart is in the right place and everything... But I just hope you aren't expecting gratitude when all is said and done.
Another page done. Mr. Question Mark has heard something odd in Fergus' shop. And now he appears to be knocking on the front door, babbling in his incomprehensible language. Fergus expects that if he doesn't answer soon that the door might be blasted in by magic. And he may be faced with a thoroughly unamused and possibly violent wizard. He needs to work quickly. It seems Fergus plans to hide Nule in his pocket and entertain/deter this unwanted wizard. But will his facade fool the armored stranger?

Nule's been having a bad time of things. Lots of mistrust, miscommunication, and all around unhappiness. He's getting mentally exhausted from near constant terror. But you're right in saying that he more or less attracts unpleasantness with his choices. He definitely was in the process of robbing Fergus. And he isn't opposed to hitting a person where it hurts.
