When i saw lake sorvagsvant in faroe islands, i said to my self this! Is lake Evendim! And use Minas Tirit for architectural resemblance for Annuminas , i think isildur and Anarion would want to live up to their father the king so i think their cities would look much alike. Absolutely beautiful! As though hewn from the untapped regions of Tolkien's imagination! And it looks like it could be a Bigature designed by Weta Workshop, that's how much it lends itself to book or film mediums.

Also, it makes me wonder just how such a great city fell into disrepair and was eventually abandoned.
